It means safe pragmatic systems to carry out your needs safely. So often we see money spent on things that aren't necessary. The latest of which is fire doors that are allegedly noncompliant.

Operational Firefighter & Officer
An 18 year full time operational career as firefighter and officer. Experience in understanding risk, experience of the outcomes and training a crew for operational response.
Fire Safety Inspecting Officer
Four years as inspecting officer enforcing the Fire Safety Order including 3 as the team leader covering two busy metropolitan council areas.
Fire Risk Assessor
A broad range of Fire Risk Assessment experience across healthcare, housing, retail, schools and recreation clubs.
Building Safety Manager
Building Safety Manager
Over four years experience as building safety manager responsible for 44 high rise buildings and leading a fire safety team that won the Fire Resilience Excellence Award for best team in 2025.
